Team Building Activities & Corporate Retreats

Hands-on activities, like cooking, foster creative conversation, clear communication, and collaboration—perfect for team building experiences! Our unique and relaxed out-of-office spaces allows your team to relate on a more personal and casual level as they build memories and build a stronger sense of community.

Choose from breakfast, lunch, or dinnertime options. Or—make a full day of it! Get the creative juices flowing by starting with a Team Building Breakfast followed by a meeting and conversation around the table.

Private Meetings

Reserve the space for small private meetings around the table. We can provide breakfast, lunch, and/or appetizers as well as wine and beer to cap off the day.

What's Included

All private events at The Book Kitchen are customizable to your needs and managed by professional culinary instructors.  Let The Book Kitchen team do the planning, prepping and clean-up!

Time

Our corporate events range from 1 1/2 hours to a full work day, depending on whether you are looking for a single team building activity or want to reserve the space for a full day of private meetings and meals.

Pricing

All events are customized and pricing varies based on the amount of guests, selected menu, amount of culinary instruction, add-ons (i.e. cookbooks, aprons), type of event, etc. Upon finalizing the event details a non-refundable 50% deposit must be paid in full to secure the date. The balance is due 7 days prior when the confirmed number of attendees is given.  Should you need to change the date of the event, we ask for 14 days notice to find an alternate date that is mutually agreeable.

Frequently Asked Questions

We do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions for events, but our kitchen is not food allergen-free or gluten-free. Please be aware that our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as milk, egg, fish/shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, soybeans, and sesame. Please see our full allergen policy here.

  • Rescheduling event 14 or more days prior to scheduled date – Deposit will transfer to your rescheduled date, no additional charges.
  • Rescheduling event within 14 days of scheduled date – Deposit is retained to cover event costs, full balance due at rescheduled date.
  • Canceling event 14 days or more prior to scheduled date – Full refund of deposit.
  • Canceling event within 14 days of scheduled date – Deposit is retained to cover event costs. If canceling within 7 days of event, an additional $200 cancellation fee will apply.

Because we are not a one-size-fits-all event space, it’s difficult to provide a base price. Pricing is highly dependent on the number of guests, amount of instruction, type of menu chosen, etc. Please contact us so that we can discuss your event and give you a good estimate.
