Kid Summer Experience – Cooking Around the World

Come join our Summer Kid Camp for a 4-day hands-on cooking experience! Our program is designed to introduce kids and teens to the wonderful and diverse world of cooking. Over four fun-filled days, participants will explore cuisines from around the globe, including France, Mexico, Thailand, and Eastern Europe.

Teen Summer Experience—Cooking Around the World

Come join our Summer Teen Camp for a 4-day hands-on cooking experience! Our program is designed to introduce kids and teens to the wonderful and diverse world of cooking. Over four fun-filled days, participants will explore cuisines from around the globe, including France, Mexico, Thailand, and Eastern Europe.

All About Tomatoes

In this hands-on class, you'll identify and taste various heirloom tomatoes and multiple ways to keep the flavor of summer tomatoes going past the season.

Family Pizza Night

Come on out for Family Pizza Night! In this interactive class, you'll roll out your own dough, top it with your favorite ingredients, and stay to enjoy your creation!. So come on out, unleash your inner chef, and savor the flavors of homemade pizza!

Cooking with Herbs with Shake Rag Alley

We’ll begin at Shake Rag Alley, where we’ll cut herbs for class. Then, we’ll move to The Book Kitchen (151 High St), to prepare a delicious penne pasta and tomato salad.

Nicole will guide you through the process with a live demonstration, emphasizing the importance of knife skills, providing useful tips to make your cooking more efficient and elevate your dishes to a new level.

Hands-On Tomato Tart

Don’t miss the opportunity to use your tomato bounty in a unique way. In our hands-on class, you’ll learn to make a savory pastry dough and a creamy eggplant filling with slow-roasted tomatoes. This is the perfect tart to celebrate the fruits from your garden. After class, we’ll enjoy a slice of tart with a mixed green salad. You'll also get to take your tart home to share. This class is designed for all skill levels and is perfect for anyone looking to enhance their baking skills with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
