Instructor

Eating well in today’s fast-paced world can be challenging, especially with the overwhelming influx of nutrition messages that often create confusion about what truly nourishes our bodies. In this presentation, we’ll explore the concept of gentle nutrition, an integral principle of intuitive eating. This approach emphasizes flexibility, nourishment, satisfaction, and self-compassion, providing a holistic perspective on our relationship with food.

Guests will be able to:

  • Describe Gentle Nutrition and its place in intuitive eating.
  • Identify meal preparedness and preparation tips for planning satisfying meals.
  • Participate in a mindful eating demonstration.
  • View simple recipe modifications for different dietary needs

**We will demonstrate a variety of recipes that follow different meal patterns. Be aware coconut, egg, milk, wheat, and gluten will be present in the kitchen. We will make efforts to reduce cross-contact for this class; however, the kitchen and its equipment are not allergen-free or Celiac-safe.**
