You may have heard of choux pastry (that’s pâte à choux, if we’re feeling fancy) on The Great British Baking Show—and at The Book Kitchen, we’re big fans. Choux is one of those magical doughs that’s fun to make but feels like a baking superpower once you know how. It’s the base for elegant éclairs and cream puffs, but in this class, we’re giving it a savory spin.
We’ll be making gougères—light, airy cheese puffs with Wisconsin cheese melted right into the dough. These little bites are golden, crisp, and irresistibly snackable. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to mix, cook, and bake. And go home with skills (and snacks!).
