Fruit Galette

In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the step-by-step process for making rustic fruit galettes, French-style pies from start to finish. We’ll cover a unique technique for mixing dough by hand, using a recipe from the cookbook, Tartine.
We’ll cover how to prepare the seasonal fruit filling, and demonstrate proper rolling, filling, and shaping a free-form galette.
Each participant will make and bake their own galette while learning practical tips—skills that translate easily to other pies and pastries.
At the end of class, we’ll gather around the table for a galette tasting, and you’ll take your finished galette home to enjoy.
