For our Demo & Dinner event, we invite you to experience the culinary world in a unique and interactive way. Think of it as a ‘pop-up’ adventure right in our kitchen.

This month, we’ve selected the James Beard Award winning cookbook, Oaxaca: Home Cooking from the Heart of Mexico by Bricia Lopez, an inspiring cookbook filled with a treasure trove of delicious recipes, including tamales, Oaxacan-style soup, and lamb barbacoa.

It’s not just a meal; it’s a journey through the pages of a cookbook and an experience to share with others.

We’ll showcase the preparations, demonstrate the techniques, and provide insights into what makes each dish special. As you watch and learn, the delightful aromas and sights will tantalize your senses. You won’t just be a spectator; you’ll become a participant in our communal meal.

After the demonstrations, we all gather around the dining table to share and experience each recipe.

  • Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus Water)

  • Cacahuates Botaneros (Oaxacan-Style Snacking Peanuts)
