Featuring

PRUNE was more than just a restaurant—it was a New York City institution. Led by James Beard award-winning chef and author Gabrielle Hamilton, it became legendary for its intimate charm and unforgettable brunches that drew food lovers from all over the world.

We’re thrilled to welcome our friends, John and Halee Wepking (owners of Meadowlark Farm and Mill in Ridgeway, WI), who met while cooking in Prune’s kitchen, to share some of the restaurant’s most beloved brunch classics. Though Prune is no longer open, it remains their favorite restaurant.

Join us for a brunch buffet, where you can arrive any time between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM—we’ll make sure your huevos rancheros are served hot!

Menu Includes:

  • Potatoes roesti
  • Huevos rancheros
  • Sour cream and caraway omelette
  • Oven pancakes
  • Granola
  • Fruit salad with mint syrup
  • Banana bread

Beverages:

  • Virgin bloody Marys with beer chasers
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Coffee and cream

*Menu is subject to change based on availability

If you would like to reserve a copy of Prune, the Cookbook from The Republic of Letters, check the box when registering and we will have it ready for you to purchase during the event!
