Join us for a lunch and learn session inspired by Kate O’Donnell’s The Everyday Ayurveda. We’ll explore the ancient principles of “the oldest continuously practiced health system in the world” known as Ayurveda. In this engaging discussion, we’ll dive into Ayurvedic fundamentals from eating to lifestyle in order to understand how these practices benefit overall wellness and healing.
Ayurvedic eating centers rooting every meal in intention, attitude, and awareness. We’ll consider how food is influenced by seasons, where and with whom you eat, and how this approach to meals can promote balance and harmony.
The class will also teach you how to integrate Ayurvedic principles into your daily routine, through identifying healthy habits and eliminating ones harmful to your well-being. Discussion will focus on how to transition to an Ayurvedic lifestyle and theory in practical ways so you can easily adopt them into your routines. Together we’ll enjoy foundational Ayurvedic recipes around the dining table, and share the joy of nourishing food as we learn how to maintain wellness long-term.
