If you’re like us, we are always looking to learn about good food and healthy lifestyles. We offered this class last winter, and the discussion was so lively, we promised to do it again for each season.
Inspired by Kate O’Donnell’s The Everyday Ayurveda, we’ll explore the ancient principles of “the oldest continually practiced health system in the world” known as Ayurveda. Ayurvedic eating centers rooting every meal in intention, attitude, and awareness. We’ll consider how food is influenced by seasons, where and with whom you eat, and how this approach to meals can promote balance and harmony.
The discussion will focus on how to transition to an Ayurvedic lifestyle and theory in practical ways so you can easily adopt them into your routines. Together we’ll enjoy foundational Ayurvedic recipes around the dining table, and learn how to maintain wellness long-term.
Our menu focuses on foods that are warm, moist, slightly oil, and building foods. This menu is gluten-free.
*Menu subject to change based on ingredient availability.
