making cakes class

Instructor

In this hands-on class, we’re focusing on the principles of cake-making and technical skills. Expect to learn the tricks of the trade, including preparing a sponge cake batter, making lemon curd and syrup from scratch, and whipping up an Italian Meringue Frosting.

Once the components are complete, we’ll demonstrate how to assemble them into a beautiful cake. Plan to enjoy a piece of cake after class and take your cake home to show off your newly acquired skills.

This class is designed for beginners and intermediate bakers eager to enhance their cake-making skills. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your techniques, this class will provide you with the knowledge and confidence to create delicious and beautiful cakes beyond our kitchen classroom.

If you would like to purchase a copy of Rose’s Heavenly Cakes cookbook for this class from The Republic of Letters, check the box when registering and we will have it ready for you to purchase during class!
