Valentine Date Night: Love Bread
Kick off Valentine’s weekend with a warm, romantic evening in the kitchen. Join us for Friday Date Night as we celebrate Dragobete, the Romanian festival of love, with a hands-on baking experience inspired by Irina Georgescu’s cookbook, Danube: Recipes and Stories from Eastern Europe.
Together with your partner, you’ll mix and knead a yeast dough, then shape it into eight beautiful bird-shaped rolls—known as Love Bread or Păsări, a traditional symbol of affection and new bonds. Plan on taking home your rolls.
As your breads rise and bake, enjoy a light snack and beverages in the cozy ambiance of our kitchen.
